Illustration major: SVA or Parsons ?

I recently got into SVA and Parsons as an illustration major with scholarship. I was leaning towards Parsons first because it’s definitely more famous than SVA. I loved the atmosphere and equipment they provided when I first visited and always wanted to go there. I recently read students reviews online and most of them are negative in regards to the students being snobs and arrogant, how they step on each other to get ahead, how the professors don’t care about student’s feelings. No offense to Parsons though, It’s a great design school but the majority of the posts are negative on the faculty and students and how it’s more business oriented. I did more research and thought going to Parsons as an illustration major might be a mistake because Parsons is 90% fashion. On the other hand, SVA definitely has more opportunities and internship opportunities with the illustration department and does not really give off the vibe of "Rich kids stereotypes ", although it’s not as well equipped and new as Parsons but I feel like students are more focused on working rather than partying. Both Sva and Parsons are really good schools and I don’t know which one to choose, any advice ? Thank you.

SVA. I have a friend who is an instructor and an illustrator at a prestigious college. She says SVA.
