hahaha...you made me look it up... lol

" gomestar: I'm enrolled in Gold's class for next semester (by choice) but starting to freak out about it... is the class worth it? And can I survive taking 4 other classes in addition?"

yes, it's worth it and you'll be fine with 4 other classes ... as long as they're not biochem or some tough engineering classes. I took 4 others as well. The good thing about the class is the 'busy parts' (papers, tough assignments) are not due during the prelim, midterm, or finals weeks. The class starts out with a few big assignments, but work on them in a group with your friends and you'll have no problem ... Prof. Gold expects this of you, but he wont tell you until the end of the semester.

"Although I do agree with you about pushing yourself in order to make yourself better, you really cant ignore a grade completely."

Here's the thing about the class: the average grade given out is usually a B to B+. Ask anybody this, or look it up. I'd see a better argument from people if the mean was a C, but this just isn't the case. The class is just a lot of work, not a GPA deflator.

"lol it's so easy to tell which review of prof Gold on ratemyprofessors is gomestar's..."

I have never actually been to the site. I am quite aware of its existence, though. I usually rely on the opinions of my friends who have taken classes or certain professors - they are acurate 100% of the time.
