Alright, so I applied to ILR ED...and I just received an email requesting an interview from an alumni. I remember being told that ILR does NOT do interviews. Is this a mistake? Is it optional?

No, I don't know where you got this bceause from my experience we all got ILR interviews. I think it just depends geographically if there are any ILR alumni in the area. Remember, unless you totally bomb it, it should only help you!

yea i'm a current freshman from nyc who also applied early, but i didn't receive an interview either.

I got an interview, but it was with a doctor who was from Human Ec. Pretty worthless interview IMO. If you got an ILR alumnus, go take it. Drive home your enthusiasm for the ILR school. You could even mention that you've been talking extensively with current ILR students as well.

I am not sure if he went to ILR.

Hey Abanks! Boy, have I got some advice for you! Go to the interview. It can only help, especially if your interviewer is the owner of a reputable sponge company.

aw shucks, thanks ahmansuuuuuure....watta coincidence! he happens to own a sponge company!

i got an interview for ilr as well. i have to go to his office at taco bell. Apparently he is the " Chief People Officer" at taco bell national headquarter. I am so nervous!
