"do goldman Sachs/Mckinsey/BCG/Microsoft all recruit at ILR?"

no, they recruit at Cornell, it doesn't matter what you major in. Microsoft does some only ILR stuff, as do a few other consulting firms (towers perrin, deloitte, mercer, etc.) Goldman sachs did ILR stuff last year, but the ibanks are not recruiting very much at all from any school due to market conditions (many are laying employees off)

Very rarely do companies like the ones you mention recruit only one major or at only one school - exceptions are like civil engineering jobs where they only want civil engineer students.

okay, but when those companies come to ILR, is being in ILR put you in the best situation to be hired? basically, is it an attractive major? more attractive than a regular straight up undergrad business degree?

well ... if a company came directly to ILR for ILR students - doesn't that imply that it's an advantage?

If you're less than perfect on interviews, it doesn't matter what major you are or what your GPA is ... care more about being a well rounded and experienced candidate who can interview to impress.

haha sorry, that was a typo, I meant when they come to Cornell, do the kids in ILR have an advantage over...AEM for instance. Is the ILR impressive to employeers?
