I'm a transfer student and I just recieved a letter asking me to schedule an interview, which I did, does anyone know what I should expect? I was told by the counselor Ian that everything is weighted equally and I will just be asked about whatever I wrote in my application. I don't have the gpa or the SAT for this school even though more than half the transfer apps are accepted, still I need everything I can get so any advice would be most appreciated.

GPA and SAT scores are not the most important determining factors. if you show a lot of passion and interest you’ll do just fine! It’s all a matter of putting forth your abilities and showing them that you have what it takes to succeed and that you plan on doing just that! Ps. Ian is such a great person, so take his advice! Best of luck :)

Thanks man, yea Ian is a such a nice guy but he wouldn't really give me any tips on the interview part which I guess he's not supposed to. I asked him if I should get dressed up and he said it's up to me, but I will anyway. I really do have a passion for labor relations and I hope I can really show that instead of get nervous and start mumbling and forget what I planned on saying.

Ya Ian is the man. Best of luck w/ the interview. If u let ur passion shine through it'll turn out great. GL!

Show that you're enthusiastic, passionate, and serious about ILR. Dressing up would definitely help out. GOOD LUCK!

Besides the GTs, are all ILR applicants interviewed?
