I'm a biology major. What should i take next quarter?

I will be taking 3 classes next quarter, one GE and 2 science courses. I'll be taking BIBC 102 (metabolic biochemistry) but I need help deciding what my second science course will be.

These are my choices: BIBC 103 (biotech lab, which I kind of want to take over the summer), Chem 140C (ochem), BIPN 100 (mammalian physiology) or Chem 143A (ochem lab)..

I really don't know what to chose because I heard BIBC 102 is a heavy memorization class and will take a lot of study time, so I don't want to overload on another science class that takes up a lot of time as well, if it can be avoided. Do you guys have any suggestions or thoughts about these classes that I'm deciding on or your experiences with these classes if you've taken it before?

What do you guys think of taking BIBC 102 with Chem 140C? I kind of don't want to skip quarters between ochem classes because I'm probably going to forget everything, but I'm also taking 3 classes this quarter (2 GEs and 140B) and my life is basically nothing but ochem.

I would personally take 140C with it, but whether or not you should, just depends on what you want to do.

All of the classes you listed are going to fairly work or memorization intensive. Just take the one where you can get a good time with a good professor, and it’ll be fine. I would want to get o-chem over with and finish the sequence in one go. But that’s just me. I think it’s perfectly do-able, but you might not.

Well, if you don’t want to skip quarters between o-chem then take o-chem. I didn’t take 140C but I found BIBC 102 to be quite a fair bit easier than CHEM 140B if that means anything.
