adding one bullet:
-6 honors classes

First learn the name of the school.

^Electronica: Perhaps my earlier postings portrayed myself as a typical prestige-pursuing student who does everything out of selfish intentions and not out of big dreams such as bettering the world and benefiting others. Though I must retort that is not who I am. I feel rather insulted by your careless comment to a sincere request for advice. I have always wanted to become an educated and resourceful person, so that I will be at a position where I can help to make helpful changes to this world. Although I am a Canadian student (and I have read a couple of forums criticizing the lack of passion and conviction of Canadian students), I daresay that many people around me are extremely outstanding, passionate, and ambitious individuals. Perhaps it is because of this prejudice, which you have against Canadian students that you have given such an inconsiderate and cynical reply. I guess, perhaps you are a student attending one of the few universities that everyone’s eyes are set on. As a result, I would even expect more modesty, compassion, and understanding rather than conceit and arrogance from you of all people. This is my first time using this forum, and I am using it because I need to understand more about this subject before I make further decisions.
To future users, please offer some helpful advice. I am really sick of unnecessary arrogance from a lot of people who consider themselves so much above the rest.

Nobody’s being arrogant. Electronica was simply pointing out that the school’s name isn’t UPenn, it’s Penn.

Imo, you’re looking pretty set for CAS. If you can get that 2200+ and package it with that GPA, strong essays and recs, you’d have a great shot.

Good luck! :)

I was simply using the abbreviation–sorry if it is not proper enough. University of Pennsylvania.

i have always called it upenn…

btw i dont know if this will help but I go to a public school in north vancouver canada and a dude in my school got into upenn ED, and he had like a 89% average with 2200+ sats and few leadership positions… but he was also invited to the Canada wide science fair (that probs helped alot)… anyway, compared to him, you’re probably a bit better so do well on sats and ull probs get in…

I think itd be most helpful to know your test scores…
