<p>MATS! Haha, I was a year before you, but I got a medal for my ACT Math score in 8th grade (34). And it’s always nice to see another Asian football player. I didn’t play this year to do cross country (gotta focus on my greater love: Track), but that’s still awesome.</p>
<p>Anyways, I’m in your same issue (with less time to spare) regarding middle school awards. I made it to Mathcounts Nationals in 8th grade (I put this in my USC app under conferences attended) and I feel like being one out of only 228 kids would make me stand out.</p>
<p>Back on topic, you have a good shot at any school. Write really good essays and you’ll probably get into at least one out of HYPSM. Good luck man.</p>
