I'm a sophomore at Carolina and have 5 Loyalty Points, I'd love to go to the A&M game, chances?

<p>Are you sure those are your loyalty points and not Gamecocks reward points? My D is a sophomore and according to the ticket site has 17 loyalty points. Although I don’t think that includes the soccer game she went to this week or the points for joining the Gamecock student club. Not sure what the cutoff will be for the initial distribution of tickets.</p>

<p>I thought my S said only 5 points from your previous year can carry over to the next year so if you haven’t done anything to earn points yet this year, and you earned at least 5 points last year, then you would begin your sophomore year with 5 points. So if that is the case- then how could anyone have 17 points already? That seems like a lot if the school year has just begun and only 5 can carry over from the previous year. I’m not saying that’s incorrect- just going by what my S said, but I may have misunderstood too. </p>

<p>I’ve heard that only ten percent of your points carry over - so if you had 17 points, 1.7 (or 2) points is what would carry over. </p>

Although as I figure it, she should have 10…4 for sophomore, 2 carryover from last year, 1 for the soccer game and 3 for Student Gamecock club. <p>I did get a ticket!! I’m a sophomore with 5 Loyalty Points. Almost none of my friends got tickets though :frowning:
I’m still very excited to go though</p>
