ok, here's the problem...i'm trying to compare department rankings between school but I really dont wanna have to pay the $14.99 or whatever it is for the full access of the US News rankings. anyone know anywhere where I can find the 2006 rankings for free on the web? i know this is bad, but i'm desperate...lol...

hahahahahaha ... yeah, id like to know too
smart man ...

anyone? well i guess this could be considered a bump...

if you are affiliated with a university (or know someone willing to share username/password info) you could search on the librarys website for a service called proquest. it has usnews archives, though is not updated with the newest grad school rankings (if thats what youre referring to).

got to barnes and noble or borders and sit with the 2006 us news rankings in a chair for as long as u need. copy down stuff if necessary.

what ameer said. B&N is the way to go

You might want to check a public library as well, then you could make copies of it :)

Why be so cheap? Unless you're extremely poor, $14.99 is the tiniest of sacrifices in order to gain access to a comprehensive graduate school evaluation.

well, i don't have a credit card and my parents won't let me use theirs because my uncle once had his identity stolen and so now they like freak out about stuff like this. i was thinking about the B & N idea but i would have A LOT of stuff to copy down. anyone have any other ideas? if not, yea ksanders, i'll probably make copies.

Or they can give you cash. 15 dollars isn't exactly a lot of money to be carrying around.

Also, if she's talking about web access, I don't think that can be bought with cash.

Barnes and Nobles. Just go to the college guides section, they got a ton of college guide books you can read for free.

yea, i cant exactly do that with cash...i wish though...oh well i guess ill just have to copy down stuff

So if they'll give you cash, just go to B&N and buy the book! What's the big deal?

is this a joke? anyone can afford $15 in this country

^Not everyone buddy...
