I'm a year out of HS now applying to schools and I'm not sure what to do re recs, etc.

Hi, I applied last year to schools (5) and was accepted in all I applied to and even enrolled in one that I didnt really want to go to. I had a really tough senior year and failed a Comp Sci class which caused my admitted school to unenroll me. I am taking a gap year and working. I definitely want to go back to school in the fall but I’m not sure where. I think I can go to a state school that’s nearby, but I’m not sure if I want to.
Now my mom is bugging me to think through what I want to do as we are close to Jan 1 deadlines. My big question is, can I reuse my common app from last year and are my recommendations in there still?

Did you try to sign into your common app account to see if your information is still there?

I agree with your mom, if you want to go to an affordable school next year, you need to get a move on with applications.

Some merit deadlines have passed or are coming up soon.
