So here's the deal. I know that I want to get an MBA and do management at an entertainment company. I live in Orlando, and I love the tourism industry here. I would love to work with Disney...

So Rollins (a local private school, Forbes said #1 regional business program...) has a 3/2 MBA degree... you get your Bachelors in 3, then the MBA in 2. I really like this idea.

What makes it better? The number one employer of Rollins MBA graduates is... Disney.

So basically, I found the most direct path for where I want to go. I really like Rollins, and it's 30 minutes away from home. I'd get a new schnazzy car if I went there (I am pretty sure I could get a full ride there...) and I'll get to stay involved in a lot of the stuff that I want to remain involved in.

I just have this little feeling lingering. Here are my stats.

GPA: 4.3w/3.8uw
Rank: 28/650
PSAT 223 (I'll at least be a NMSF)
SAT 2200 (CR750/M730/W720)
SAT IIs (ehhhh):
Math 1: 710
Lit: 690
Spanish: 670
IB Diploma

AP English Language: 5
AP Spanish Language: 3
AP World History: 4
AP Music Theory:4

IB Bio:4
IB Spanish: 5

Extra Curriculars:
Lacrosse 10-12 (Varsity 11, 12)
Jazz Band 11, 12 (Bass guitar)
Marching band 9-12 (10th and 11th I was pit section leader, 12th I am percussion Captain)
Show Band (bass guitar)
Church Band (9-12)
Student Congress (11, 12)

Now, I could go somewhere a little more prestigious.. but I just see it as wasted money. Almost any of the other schools that I looked at will end up costing a lot more... I'll be far away from the things that I want to be close to... and I mean... if a degree from Rollins will get me to the same place as a degree from somewhere else, and I like Rollins... why not?

I have friends that will be applying to the ivies and everything... and I used to want to apply to 15 schools... but I've changed a lot.

I'm going for an official visit tomorrow. For me to get the aid that I want to get (top scholarship they have is full ride...), I think I should apply ED. I know if I apply ED that I will get accepted... and I really doubt that I am going to change my mind.

So if you were in my shoes... would you go ahead and make the plunge?

And should I apply to UF "Just in case" or is that just a waste?

Thanks a lot...
