I'm Actually An Average Student---So What Are My Chances?

Hello!!!

So I am a senior planning to apply to UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara, UC Irvine, Pitzer College, Cal State Long Beach, and Cal Poly SLO. I want to major in Environmental Science; I’m a female; I’m half white and half Asian; my unweighted GPA is a 3.82 and my weighted (the way that Cal States and UCs weight it since my school doesn’t do weighted GPAs) GPA is 4.04. My top three choices are UC Davis, Pitzer College, UC Santa Barbara, and Cal Poly SLO in this order; the rest I see as kind of a back up. My stats are listed down below and if you have any other suggestions to other colleges I should apply to because they give back a lot of money or has a really good Environmental Science program that I qualify for, please feel free to leave comments down below! Thank you so much!

ACT Scores:
June 2017: 27 and a 7 on the writing
September 2017: 29 w/o writing (I know, it was a very dumb decision to not take the writing part because now I can’t use this score for my UC apps)
October 2017: 27 and an 8 on the writing

Your GPA is within range but ACT below average for the UC’s on your list.
