yea, our vending machines make me fat. It's so easy to stick a dollar in, and have some food pop out. Whoever decided vending machiens were a good idea never though about obesity.

so celebrian's number two next to zante, eh?

you have starbucks in your school! Not at all fair!

but we have three starbucks' within two miles from my house. Which one i go to depends on the traffic of that time of day.

yea they want things on campus to satisfy our "closed-campus system" meaning we cant go off campus cuz when we had open-campus too many kids died :-/

starbucks is so popular, it's amazing. My dad freaks out if he can't get his morning starbucks coffee.

thats cuz starbucks is amazing....

hmmm. we have open campus. It is real nice. Except we got it taken away this semester because the entire senior class decided to have a "Senior Skip Afternoon", skipping one double-class and everyone had to come back for serious science classes (no missing htat AP Physics or AP bio!)
Next semester... half the classes are study halls (a.k.a., starbucks bonding time) and open campus here I come!

we don't have open campus, though plenty of kids leave for lunch anyways, they have bigger problems, like drug busts. Which are really quite amusing.

"Senior Skip Afternoon"..that sounds so nice..I usually hear about "Senior Cut Days" in the spring semester though..

Starbucks--it's so nice there! I used to order chocolate brownie frappacinos but now it's not there =P (yea that was a while ago)

Yea, we made up the whole "Senior Skip Afternoon".
It had a nice ring to our ears, so we went with it.
Then the teachers watched us all walk away to our cars. It was a nice moment.

we have senior skip day, which is weird because it's accepted that no seniors will be there except for a few morons who come for kicks I guess.

Lol...our class is such a nerd class that no one skipped on Senior Skip Day. Instead, we were buried in calculus lectures and government quizzes. Good times, good times.

wow. Even the nerds skip here. And I don't just mean the popular smart people. I mean everyone. Except the kids who come as a joke really. Or the kids who have 6 absenses (7 and you fail that class)

hm...I think "Senior Cut Day" is really hush-hush at my school; the teachers are really against it and so, they attempt to schedule exams on a certain day so some students just had to come to class.

At least that was my impression when it happened last year to my (then)senior friends.

I go to a public, so it's not like a big deal. And exams are only at certain times, scheduled ahead of time (like, 1, 2 and 3rd period exams today, 4, 5, 6 periods exams on the next day and 7 and 8 periods exams on the day after that, you don't come in during a time when you're not in class, either from early out, late in, study hall, or lunch)

My school's also public but o well

your testing system sounds very organized and allows room for changes..very cool

that's the illusion organized...looks can be deceiving

At my school... everyday is a senior skip day. Class begins, well, when we want it too. The teachers are terrorized by us kids. Why? Cause we give 'em a reason to be skizurred. werd up, fa sho. Everyone's strapped wid a nine, we got hustlers, bagleggers, candymen, you name it, we got it. Ya kna'wa-imean? Like two dayz back, some punk-snitches was like, "Yo, we be the illest **** on deez nutz, so ya betta recognize!" Den I be like, "betta watch dem Tims, befo i jack 'em off yo plants, fa shizzur!" den, like, dey be like skurred by deez fat lyrics, dat dey be like, "yo, hobbes, you da sickest thing in years! If you don't get into Princeton, we'll tear this bitch up!" and I was like, yo, be careful deezies. i got some mad love for my G's, and no po-po 'bout to bust deez gatz, ya hurr?" Den we go eat Thai food, cause that's what gangster like us eat.

hobbes, I've decided you must get into Princeton. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Don't even worry about it anymore.

Nita, that's how it is at my school, too, but we all make a run for Cedar Point theme park (in Ohio) anyway.

My school has open campus, thank goodness - but so many of the ridiculous students abuse it to run into Detroit to buy drugs! It's even stupider because the police officers know this goes on and troll the main boulevard one would speed into Detroit on, and so when they see a car come back in they pull it over and catch the kids. And these kids aren't generally smart enough to take a different route back in.

WHO BUYS THEIR DRUGS AT LUNCH, is what I want to know?! I'm usually studying for a Gov't test my next hour, or getting hyped up on caffiene, etc., etc.
