im admitted to ucsb but i have some questions for TAU update

Hi,

I got admitted by ucsb,

my major is physics. I finished 9 out of 10 pre-requisite classes that are REQUIRED to finish by spring semester on assist.org in order to transfer to UC schools. I'm missing one chemistry class, which is chemistry101. and I'm planning to take it this summer.

ok here is the problem,

on my UC application, I put chemistry101 as the class I'm planning to take this summer 2013.
so for the section of "college course& grades" on my UC application profile, the chemistry class appears as "PL" if u know what i mean.
But now i dont wanna take any class this summer, so can i still go to MY UC APPLICATION to update the course changes and after that do i need to notify ucsb about the changes that ive made?
Will the course changes of summer 2013 affect my application?
Will they reject me if i dont take chemistry101(becuz it's one of the major pre-req) this summer even now im adimitted?

thx

They may rescind your admission if you don’t take that pre-req. You should call admissions to find out for sure. Don’t chance it.

Agreed with sumbum, always talk to them before you make any changes

I’ve changed my spring schedule too, though maybe not as much as you want to. Instead of physics 6B and its lab, im taking physics 6C and its lab. I called UCSD and they told me that it wouldn’t make a difference as long as I end up with 90+ quarter units by the end of spring quarter. Then i called UCLA about it and a lady told me to report it and update it on the uc app website (which i did), but i was still confused after i got off the phone with her. Im still not sure if it makes an impact on my UCLA app or not.
