your my direct competitor, and I think you have a good chance at these schools, although Columbia and particually Harvard may be a reach for you. What do you want to study at Columbia?

your grades are exellent (Im not really sure of the school or education standard) but your Ec's are low. What languages are you fluent in?

I would imagine that you would be accepted to Northwestern, UC Berkeley, University of Michigan (EA), and University of Washington. The others, I believe, would be far reaches.

I don't think the ECs are too low, because they probably don't offer too many ECs there, right? I'd say your predictions are pretty much correct, actually I could see you getting into Dartmouth. I'd put it between a reach and a match.

Gei ho a! ;)

frankechanel - I'm undecided on major. I can speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin fluently. why does it matter?

^
Probably because colleges aren't very impressed when a native speaker scores well on a language subject test.

I wish I knew Mandarin.

You'll get in to most of those colleges I doubt an acceptance at Harvard though. Good luck ED at Columbia

Reach - Columbia (ED), Harvard, Dartmouth
Low Reach- UC Berkeley (This is almost as difficult for international students as getting into Harvard, so don't underestimate it), Northwestern (not as easy to get into as you think, even though your scores are awesome)
Match - Cornell Hotel School, University of Michigan (EA)
Safety - University of Washington (hmm... a little bit more of a low match but I doubt that they would reject you).

any other opinions? what are some other good match or safety schools for me? thanks so much!
