Congratulations on your acceptance! I hope your good fortunes continue with the rest of your applications (based on your scores I'm sure it will!)

Yay for being accepted stacey says!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Outstanding IcicleRose! Yes, we know MSUs your safety, but like a shrewd poker player, it would be nice if you "stand" on your MSU admission, but I know you're looking at other worthy colleges --- we just don't want to lose you to UM ... :-) You sound like a bright kid who's done her homework on MSU, so there's really not much to tell you other than stay up on the excellent Honors Coll (get their quarterly newsletter/magazine), which I know you said you have, since, with your stats, you'd definitely qualify for, and look out for the ADS competition in Feb, for a partial-to-full ride scholarship... I don't know your specific interest, but James Madison and Lyman Briggs residential colleges are good small college choices, where you can double-enroll in the Honors College.

yeah, if i end up at msu for whatever reason, i'd be doing honors college and lyman briggs. hopefully i could get onto an honors floor in the dorms.

Congratulations :)!
but IcicleRose, do you know when they made a decision on your application?
The website says they made a decision on me on Oct. 5 and sent a letter out already but I still havent gotten mine yet.

soniqwave, do you live in mich? where? cuz how far you live from State is gonna affect when you get your letter, obviously. but, I'm sure you got in!

Yep I live in wayne county. Netflix's distribution center in michigan is in Lansing and since it only takes a day for them to send stuff out I'm assuming MSU should be the same lol.
Thanks for the reassurance tho :) I'm kinda worried more about my UMich decision... its making me more nervous, what about you?

yes, I'm VERY worried about the U of M thing. I just fear being deferred and then having to send in what will be my terrible first semester senior year grades. and then after four years of hard work, being rejected b/c my first term senior grades are bad. Now that would freaking suck. And since I'll probably be getting a C in Calc, well, you know.

So, ya. I'm sooo worried and it will be a huge relief when I get that acceptance letter, assuming that I do.
