<p>Which residence hall would you recommend as the best overall fit for and incoming freshmen in terms of meeting new friends and adapting to college life?</p>
<p>If i get accepted in may after being waitlisted, am i gonna be at a huge disadvantage for dorm choices?</p>

<p>@inprettypatterns I think Santa Catalina offers the best atmosphere and community as well as the best amenities. Granted there might be construction there next year.</p>

<p>@redlegfrog I mean Manzinita will be the absolute quietest, but I still recommend Santa Catalina. The noise isn’t as bad as people say and no one ever studies in their room no matter where they live, study spaces are used most of the time.</p>

I was wondering if you know how difficult in terms of workload the economics&accounting major is from personal experience or from others? also have you found it difficult to get all the classes you need/want? how helpful are the academic advisors in making sure you graduate on time? how feasible is the concept of graduating in 4 years at ucsb? how difficult/easy is it to study abroad here? and how difficult/easy is it to double major here?

<p>Why is Santa Catalina the best then? I heard it’s pretty far off campus. I’m thinking for housing, Santa Cruz followed by Santa Rosa and then FT.</p>
<p>It seems you’re very bias towards FT. To wrap it up, FT is the farthest from campus; thus, the people in FT are more bonded as a group since that’s all you really have when FT is so far from campus. Due to the fact that it’s far from campus, it’s also able to get away with a lot of partying.</p>

2) How is the Economics/Math course?
3) How is the Physics course and what’s the difference between B.A. and B.S. for Physics. I heard B.A. is more flexible.</p>
<p>Where do transfers normally live? I don’t want to live in IV, I want to live on campus. Is there a transfer community? Also how likely is it to get a single room?</p>

<p>Could you please explain the differences between Anacapa and FT. I really want there to be a nice social scene but the only concern i have with FT is how far it is from campus. Is it really that much of a hassle to get to classes from FT? Also, How far away are both from IV?
