i'm an immigrant.

how will they check WHEN i came to United States?

i came to US when i was 7 years old.
but, how will they know that?

how will they know if i say “”" i came to US when i was freshman in high school…"“hence my low verbal score”" “”"

well. how do they check for sure that you (apparently) have 13 leadership positions?

seriously i just looked at your chances thread.

how on earth do you expect them to believe you got soooo involved and elected into 13 leadership positions w/ a poor command of english? will they not notice that your writing isn't terrible?

if the adcoms realize that much, which is pretty obvious to me (haha, even if you didn't directly state it...), they will definitely put you in the reject pile immediately for being dishonest. because if you lied about one thing to try to make up for a poor verbal score, it's EASY to believe you lied about other things on your app, since you know/have so much. don't spend your app making excuses for the areas in which you were slightly below par for your own standards. focus on your strengths, and whip up some really good essays to make up for those verbal scores.

seriously, don't even try. i think you're fine. AND you get a leg up, being from missouri. if you do lie, i hope you don't get into wharton/huntsman/whatever it is, because we don't need anymore corrupt businesspeople. kayyy. but anyway, good luck.

i wasnt gonna use this lie haha
because, you're right, lying is NOT worth it
even little lies like this to cover something

but i was just brainstorming ideas of how some ppl could fool the admissions lol

lolol why? if you're not going to use them, no pt. and i doubt you can try to foil other people.

it's sad, really, when i started my apps and realized... omg.. all those threats they made about not letting us put w/e on our transcript are completely harmless. it's completely easy to lie. momentarily dejected because i could've actually not done some stuff and said i did w/out any real retribution, but that's pretty stupid. um i really don't have a point to this... anyway, hope to see you on campus next year visiting as an accepted student =P (if it's still your #1 choice)
