Hi!! I’m currently a Junior in high school with a 3.31 GPA. By the time I apply to college this summer it’ll probably be a 3.4. Temple is one of my top schools, and I want to know what my chances are? I’m still working on my ACT score but it will probably be between a 27-29. I bumped up to AP English Sophomore year & have continued taking it, and took Chemistry instead of Physical Science that year (our school doesn’t offer honors chem). I’m only taking 1-2 classes this year but will be taking 4-5 AP classes next year. Will that be a significant trend for Temple’s admissions officers? I also have a significant amount of extra curriculars and have a lot interesting things to talk about in my essay. I want to know if I have a good chance of being accepted there!!! My other option is Drexel, too.
Temple and Drexel are both solid safeties for you. I’d say upwards of 70% chances at both.
Thanks! The only thing I’m worried about is not being on an accelerated math track, because a lot of students are. Would it be better to apply early action because of that?
