I'm Being Pretty General Here But...

I'm pre-med and interested in being an anthropology or maybe psych major... and I hear that bio, chem, math, fws, and a 5th course is standard... but if I'd rather have a lighter course load of 4 classes first semester while still taking an anthro or psych class... could I defer math to second semester? Is this a bad idea? Or will I still be on a common and competitive pre-med track?

Also, what's a good sampling of a second sem. schedule... aside from another FWS and bio 102/104?

yea math doesn't need to be done freshman year. You'll be fine with bio, chem, fws, and a class for your major. Your second semester will have bio, chem, fws, and another elective (math or something else).

defn try to schedule in a psych or anthro class...after all you want to know if you really do like these majors...

i would say that FWS are the ones to push back...
