I was joking around with some friends, and they were saying that I have no friends. That's when a female acquittance of mine walked by, and I brought her into it. The guys then teased us some, and said I'm too old to date her. She looked at me in the eyes (smiling) and said "I like older guys." She held eye contact and then walked off after a few seconds (I did not know what to say and was kinda blushing).

Did she basically say she likes me? Or was she just joking?

I don't really know her that well, and she seems to get a little nervous whenever I approach her (she has not initiated anything yet, but we have only talked a few times). I really have not had a true conversation or anything with her yet as well, due to being pressed for time the few times I was able to approach her.

What do you think is going on? And should I ask for her number next time I run into her?

Next time you see her say “give me your number and we can hang out”. After that there’s not much advice you can get. Do what you want, acquire experience, and you’ll be much more successful in years to come (assuming you take the opportunities that come your way, like this one).

agree with papasmurf – as a girl, I think she’s given you a pretty clear indication that she’s into you. Just ask her for her number the next time you see her, the worst that’ll happen is that she’ll tell you she doesn’t like you in that way.

yeah tell him man, there’s nothing to lose. at least you will know how she feels about you. if she doesn’t like you back at least you’ll know and you can move on with your life.
