I'm interested in becoming an environmental journalist and writing about animals. I have three options:
1) A double major in biology and environmental studies-environmental nonfiction
2) A major in environmental studies-conservation biology, and a minor in literature
3) A major in biology and minors in environmental studies and literature
I really can't decide which choice to go with. Do you have any insight as to which will be the most appropriate for my future? Thanks.

I’m thinking about a similar career but for the opposite reason; I know what I want to study. So, I’m double majoring in English and Biology. For you, I think perhaps choice 2, but I’m not that familiar with environmental studies. I assume though that whatever you end writing about animals will include several aspects related to that major such as how erosion or climate changes affect a species or the wildlife in general of an area. I’m not sure about literature. Maybe professional writing would be somewhat a better option, of course it depends on how the school’s programs are set up. Well that’s about all the insight I have right now :)
