I'm confused...

Do universities such as Harvard, ask for our cumulitave g.p.a s?

if so, would it the cumulitave gpa be from all your marks from grade 8 to grade 12? (my school in canada is from gr 8 - 12 )

if they just ask for your g.p.a, which grade g.p.a do you send them? the year you are in right now?

does your g.p.a depend on your school...

i go to a private catholic school, and there are no aps or honours offered there.
so would the highest gpa i can recieve be 4.0?

or can i take public ap courses outside of school...

your school will send an official transcript – ask to see a copy, that will tell you what the school looks at. There are lots of different ways to do it – your school guidance counselor is the person to ask.

In general it is all the grades you have earned for all the years you were enrolled in High School – in the US, that is usually grades 9-12 (first semester 12th)

The highest unweighted GPA that anyone can earn is a 4.0/4.0. Many schools (particularly the tops schools) only look at unweighted grades.

It is up to your school as to whether you are allowed to take AP classes from another school – but you can take AP tests without taking the classes.

If AP and Honors classes aren’t offered at your school, that won’t be counted against you.

omg, thankyou so much!
