your SAT I & II scores seem pretty low (by comparison to what i've seen on this forum), as does that bio AP score. are you a recruited athlete? what's your GPA?

it also seems odd that your lowest SAT II is in literature, when you said that you were part of the poetry club.

Are you an URM or recruited athlete? If not, none of your subscores on the SAT are anywhere near Yale's median range (which I believe is 700-750 or something to that effect) and your ACT is a point below their median ACT (which is 31-34, I think.. sorry I don't know the exact numbers). Your ECs are also bland and a bit sparse. That being said, no one on this forum really "knows" who's getting in and who isn't, so best of luck!

I have to agree with the above posters. While SATs aren't everything, they do serve as a bit of cutoff almost, so it's hard to overcome unless the rest of your application is outstanding, which it doesn't seem to be. (Unfortunately, I'm in much the same boat.)
At any rate, I think your best chances are if you're a recruited athlete, but other than that, I'd say you probably have less of a chance than a lot of people on this board and a lot of applicants in general.
But there's always hope. :) Did you apply SCEA?

Sorry, upon looking at that again, I realize that you did apply EA.
Good luck. Let us all know in 15 days.

i know it's too late now, but it may have helped to hold off your application for RD and retaken those SATs... the scores are your weak points.

your writing is the highest-- hopefully that bodes well for your essay. a great essay can make a difference.

i know it was asked before, but it would help to know your gpa.

your ECs are solid, especially crew-- quite interesting!. i agree with the others that it would be fantastic to be recruited as an athlete.

best of luck to you, i hope you're happy anywhere you end up.

Your stats, with the exception of the SAT scores (my weakness too), aren't all that bad. You seem dedicated to athletics. Just wondering, what part of the country are you from. I'm on my school's varsity crew team; are you on a Florida team? What's your 2k?

Um...I hope you're either a recruited athlete or legacy.

Ooh...dude, I'm really sorry. I don't know. I definitely say that you're not going to be accepted early. You might get deferred and you may have a chance then if you can bump up you SATs significantly.

But you never know. I truly wish you the best of luck; at this point, you have just as good of a chance as any of us. Keep working; be the best you can be and to hell with anyone that stands in your way.
