I've noticed the constantly increasing popularity of the University of California schools.
What is the issue with them that causes it?

The UC’s are popular because they offer a great education at a lower price, for a large in-state base. Plus, when you have two great schools consistantly ranked highly (Berkeley and LA) along with the strong sciences of UCSD, you have the foundations for a great program.

i didn’t decide to attend ucla for any of the reasons stated above.

i decided to come here for the location and the opportunities, among other reasons.

I see; are they also generally easy to get on based on their rankings versus other closely ranked non UC schools?
