Although I'm still waiting on Michigan, I'm expecting a rejection, so I'm pretty much ruling it out. I've narrowed down my choices to Indiana and Wisconsin. My current major I would like to pursue would be something in business (maybe accounting or finance), but I'm NOT 100% if I want to do that. I have other interests including History and Philosophy.

Indiana:
-would cost me 27K per year (received 9k scholarship)
-Kelley Direct Admit
-Hutton Honors Admit
-parents went there, sibling currently goes there (this turns me off A LOT because I wish to go someplace different than them)
-pretty campus (although I don't like how spread out it is)
-about 5 hours away

Wisconsin:
-would cost 34k per year
-would have to apply at the end of freshman year to get into their business school (need ~3.5 gpa to get into their b-school)
-going to apply to their honors program
-pretty campus (I like lakeshore, not the urban areas as much)
-about 3 hours away

I know it looks like a no-brainer to go to Indiana, but I'm just not sure. Comments and suggestions are much appreciated.

Wisconsin is a great school, and I am probably going there, but I think Indiana is slighlty better for business and as it is cheaper, I would recommend it.

Indiana is great in Business, Wisconsin trumps them in almost everything else. You don’t seem entirely sold on Business. If your parents can afford it, I would opt for Wisconsin. It is a GREAT university, especially if you are thinking about history they are top 10.

Indiana is a big university so you will probably never see your sibling. Don’t give your sib the satisfaction of excluding you from a good “fit”!
