I'm extremely worried...

I'm a senior in high school and I only have a few weeks until graduation.

I have already been accepted into a college. But I'm really worried...

I am taking an advanced diploma and I'm doing well in other classes except for math. I'm stuck at an F because I was having trouble with the unit we were learning about. The thing is there's only one grade left, and I'm pretty sure if I do well, it won't change it that much but go up to a high F.

The college I applied for requires 4 years of English, 3 years of science, social studies, and math (Algebra 1, 2, and Geometry).

Will I switch to a standard diploma? Will I not graduate? Will the college I'm going to change their mind?

I am going to call them about this situation. I want to graduate and I want to go to the college.

Thanks so much!

Only the college can tell you for sure; it’s best you call them and find out what their policies are. I don’t know about the whole standard vs. advanced diploma, but if you’ve gotten good grades for your other marking periods in math, I’m sure you’ll still be able to graduate. Still, checking with your guidance counselor might be a good idea too…
