I’m failing AP Calculus A/B and its my second semester of senior year. I have already received admission into 5 colleges and am awaiting 3 more. Last semester I got a B in AP Calculus but I’m failing it right now with a 45%. I don’t think I;ll be able to bring it up. Do you think that some colleges will revoke my admission even if I notify them beforehand? I’m passing all my other classes with A’s and my GPA after failing calculus will be a 3.75. The curriculum for the class is that our grades consist of 80% on tests and 20% quizzes. My teacher doesn’t give out extra credit or make up tests. I’ve gone to tutoring and have asked for help but still have not performed well on the test pr quizzes. All we’re doing this semester is FRQ’s and FRQ tests and I don’t think I’ll be able to pass the semester. What do you think will happen? (The colleges I applied to are all UC’s and CSU’s).
I disagree. Even if it’s just one class, it is a big deal if you’re failing. You need to contact the UC Admissions if your final grade for that class does turn out to be a “D” or an “F”.
Below is what I found from the UC Admissions page:
After admission: the student must contact the admissions office at the campus from which they received an admission offer to determine if the grade will negatively impact the offer. It is helpful if the student informs the campus of final grades received in all courses to show a balanced perspective of the academic accomplishments for the each term of the senior year.

It was a Q&A found on their website and the Q was:
What should a student do if they receive a D or F grade in the senior year (freshmen) or last term prior to enrolling at UC for fall (transfers)?
