I'm feeling concerned

So, I'm planning to apply Early Decision this fall, and just got my final SAT scores that I'll ever take.

2250: (800/670/780)

Math score is not okay. At all.

I got 720 math on a previous SAT. Does Columbia superscore? I should know this.

Anyway, are my chances completely shot?

Yes, I know, ECs and blah blah. But I'm talking SATs here, how bad does this look?

My subject tests are 800/760/760

Thanks to anyone who replies to my rambling.

Headdesk

Yes, it superscores.

Realize that you are well within SAT range of being accepted. At this point, the decision will be made based on smaller intangibles, like essays, recs, etc.

“My subject tests are 800/760/760”

What subjects? If one of them is SAT II Math and you’re not applying for SEAS, you should be fine easily (if you’re applying for SEAS with 760 MATH II, you should most likely be fine if you are taking hard math classes and doing well in them). If one of them is SAT I Math and you’re not applying for SEAS, you should also most likely still be fine.

btw, when I say fine, I mean fine in terms of your SAT scores. as you acknowledged yourself, there are a lot of other considerations.

Your scores are okay to get accepted. My son got in with similar scores (into CC). So don’t stress out. Focus on Senior year, Essays etc. Make sure you keep your grades up.

I’m not applying SEAS, but don’t have a math subject test, my tests are: Bio/Lit/Physics. With Bio being the 800. I’m a little confused about superscoring, what exactly do they look at? I submit the two scores and they put them together by looking at them, or do I do that on some form so they would just see a 2300? Thanks for the nice replies, I realize this was a sort of dumb, 2 am question.
