"I'm FINALLY done with my ED/EA! Phew."

I've just finished with my app stuff.
essays have driven me crazy, but i'm sure that i've produced something unique!

about SAT, i'm worried about score report because i didnt rush it, but luckly collegeboard just have recieved my score report request today, so it'd be 10/31/2008 postmarked. phew.

So... tonight, I can finally relief (for a while).
....but maybe its a good idea to start to do some massive school work which i've completely ignored until today :P

Congrats! :D

Congratulations! Let the waiting begin! ;)

I finished my EA app for Baylor Sunday evening. I was so happy. I told myself after that, "One down, five more to go."

Haha!

Congrats for getting it done! Best of luck to you!

I applied to 2 rolling, 5 EA. Only have 1 RD application to do, plus an honors application.

I did 1 rolling 5 EA and 1 RD. Or maybe it's 2 rolling and 4 EA...

Hahaha I have one due tomorrow [errr today, technically, going by the fact that it's after midnight] and it's still not quite done. Too many essays for one app.. awoefiwa

Ok, one suggestion for people who have alrdy submitted their application:

DO NOT take a look what you wrote either essay, or application (for a while)!

I actually took a look my essay today, and found one grammar error. It’s really not a huge one, but made me like “OMFG!!! I wont be able to go ***** College, and I’m gonna clean bathroom for rest of my life!!”

(jk for the bathroom part :P)

@ wanji: I agree!
I never want to look at any of my writings. Especially if it's something personal that I wrote. It just feels so awkward rereading what I wrote and thinking "Oh! I should have included "xyz""or "I sound like a total idiot in hindsight." There's always something that I can change to make better. What really irks me is that many times, these ideas come after I had submitted something. It also feels weird (to me) to have someone reading my personal thoughts. I always hope that I don't sound too childish or naive to the reader.

Oh, and I finished all 7 of my apps, even though some of them are due in December and January. My dad got angry that I was taking my time to apply and mandated that I receive no sleep until I finished all the apps last week.(I only had to fill out some info and had all my essays done) :-(

@wanji: i feel the same way. i rewrote a non-common app essay into a common app supplement, and it turned out much better and now i'm freaking out about the original.

everything's finally in. one ED, two EA. can't wait until december...

Yay, I finished a RD [which was due today though because of a scholarship thing], an EA, and another EA :} Happiness.
