So I'm a junior and my grades are in the 90s and above range so far except for History. I have a 76 in history because of two quizzes that I wasn't prepared for. I just took a test and another quiz that'll boost my grade to at least a B I think...but anyway, my one concern is taking notes. Each night my teacher assigns around 30 or so pages to take detailed notes on from a textbook. I just find it so boring I can hardly retain the info, let alone find the motivation to take notes. How do I make it more fun to take notes?

Sorry, I don’t have any tips on fun note-taking. I would just say to suck it up and be diligent. Taking notes suck.

What textbook do you use? Maybe there are study guides available online that correspond to your textbook. Love deh googlez… Take advantage of deh googlez.

Give one-to-two sentence summaries of each paragraph. That should help.

Better learn how to concentrate and grind through taking notes, it will be a valuable skill in college.

Honestly to get a 4 or 5 on the ap read the review book

The other issue with AP World History (I took it last year and 5’d the exam), is that the questions are worded very trickily. Be sure to practice questions as well (If you are so dedicated) on top of your notes, and see why you got them wrong, (Insert my mother’s nagging words here that you’ve also probably heard a million times), etc.
