I'm from OC, CA. Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I applied for the Leadership one. Family makes too much for the Achievement one.

Still wondering about majors...

I'm out of state too. Well..out of country actually.

AHH I REALLY HOPE I GET IN!! So nervous!!

Any thoughts about Greek, International House ... is there other group housing that might be interesting for a freshman/theater/cultural anthro/foreign languages person?

^ As far as I know, International Housing is your best bet. Go to the Cal site and look under Housing to see for yourself, though.

I'm out of state too!
I'm from Arizona and i'm planning on majoring in math.
i'm so nervous/excited to hear my admission decision!
so right now the remaining colleges i need to hear from are cal, yale, and stanford.

OOS southern marylander here. =]
Applied to L&S CS, might transfer to EECS...
I seriously can't wait until I find out if I get a chance to meet you guys!

You know we all have to celebrate once we get in.

^ Totally. There are plenty of great restaurants in Berkeley (City of), we'll have to meet and go party on the first night.

That's one of my reasons for choosing Berkeley over any other place! =]

MQD: I would suggest just living on campus the first year -- it's a great way to socialize. The int'l house usually accepts upperclassmen or people doing study abroads at Berkeley.

And definitely check out some frat/sorority houses during your first few weeks, if you're interested! Every frat has their own group of unique people.

yeah website says the 'evening' of march 26. it will be posted on myberkeleyapplication

Did any of you get invitation email for informational webinar from UCB? It seems personalized. Just trying to find out how widely they are distributing this.

I did, I think everyone got one

and I'm attending it!

^^ It's not a reflection of your admittance decision, just an informational. It even says it's not just for 09 grads, but Class of 10 who are interested in Cal.
