your stats are REALLY good!! but unfortunatly since you are asian, you are going to be compared with a lottt of other asians applying to those schools with much higher GPAs and SAT scores. I wouldnt freak out too much because you will definitely still get into a good school. I think you are more than likely to get into Villanova, Babson, Rutgers, BC, TCNJ, and Penn State. The others may be kind of a reach but you never know college admission’s decisions are very unpredictable. good luck with everything!!!

Thank you so much!! I appreciate that you took time to offer your comments. I also hope things turn out well. =]

bumpppp bump bump bump

bump bump bump…anything guys?

Cornell is a super reach. Your GPA is way too low period and your SAT isn’t that great either. Your AP tests might have helped you if they were good but a 2 is no bueno. Generic Extracurrics and not absolutely stellar letters of rec and essays and things aren’t looking good for Cornell or maybe Carnegie Mellon. The other look like decent choices, some a little bit of stretches but these things are unpredictable. Sorry if I sound harsh and truly, I wish you the best of luck!

Thank you for being honest. I realize Cornell is a reach, therefore I applied early decision to take my chances there. However, I didn’t think my extra-curricular activities were as generic as you claim they are. Also, about my essay not being stellar, you may have misread. I have had several people read my essay, and they said it was REALLY GOOD, some said that Cornell went from being a super reach to a low-mid reach. But all I can do is just wait and see. Thank you again for being frank and offering feedback :)

what are my odds? bump bump bump again

Anyone??? Please offer your thoughts. I really want to know.

Could I please get a percentage of my chances at the schools listed above?

It’s just too hard to make a prediction, but use the College Data dot com site (uses Common Data Sets and they are up to date). You can put in all your stats and then save all your schools to determine “chances”. It was really accurate for my son’s acceptances (and denials) last year. I highly recommend using it! But yes, quick glance over where you are applying, I think you’ll do fine and have some good offers. Stay positive and don’t worry (yeah, right lol!)

Thoughts???
