C. Designed and modeled the 4^2 stroke engine which is theoretically 200% more efficient and uses half the parts, fuel and energy to run on … This makes it 4 times better than the normal engine. Looking to get it interned and approved TVS India
D. Extracurriculars:
1.Helped for one year with the PNLIT which is an organisation to revive a lake

That’s all folks!!
Thank you
Rohin Ram
I would really appreciate if someone could give me the names of reach , moderate and safety colleges… Please help.!! Will chance back!!!
Your engine design sounds very interesting but for Cornell, your test scores are pretty low
Extremely extremely slim chance, probably none, with that ACT and those SAT IIs. Aim for 33+ or 700+ on each subject test, although 800 would be ideal as many applicants from India are geared towards the sciences and engineering have almost perfect ACT and SAT scores and perfect SAT II scores in Math, Physics, and Chemistry.
Once you get to that point, then you may go from extremely extremely slim chance to very slim chance since you will be competing with a pool of international olympiad winners from India/China/UK.
Did you win tennis trophies on the national/international levels? If so, you may consider contacting Cornell’s tennis coach to see if you could be recruited. Still, you would need to bring up your test scores, but it would be a huge boost.
it doesnt add up that you have so many amazing science and math extracurriculars but your subject tests are so poor (by ivy league standards)- college admissions will see this and they will scratch their heads- you have a pretty slim chance
Like the others said, you have a very low chance because of your test scores… that ACT score is really going to hurt you. Your EC’s are all pretty cool, but that test score is going to bring your chances way down.
So with my profile …what colleges do I have a chance at?? Please help!! I need scholarship too … And the reason for my scores are , I wasn’t feeling sick… Can’t I just put that on my CA profile?
Being sick is not really an acceptable excuse. Getting scholarships with those test scores is not likely. The problem is that there is a large number of Indians applying to universities in the USA and many of them have amazing test scores and even better extra curriculars. Perhaps staying in India may be a better choice, maybe unless your engine design becomes a product that you are able to sell which would interest colleges.
Yup totally understand… Any colleges in reach?
Appreciate all of y’all for helping… Thanks a ton!!
would have been in dreams otherwise!!
@rohinram97, it is obvious that you have shown interest and liking for Engg. subjects. However, with your scores, you are not a strong candidate for any of the top-tier Engg. schools in the US. My suggestion is that you do well in the IIT Entrance exam and complete your undergrad at one of the IITs. If you do well, you will have umpteen opportunities for higher studies in the best Engg. schools in the US. It is not worth spending money for attending a so-so name here in the US when you have good colleges in your backyard. Good luck !
PS. I see that you have completed coursework at IITB in Thermodynamics… good stuff ! When I did my undergrad at IITB, we had a super Prof. (Sukhatme)…still reminisce about those good ole days

Do your undergrad in India, get great grades and then hopefully you can do your graduate school in the US
Thanks a lot guys…!!! Will do exactly as y’all say
