I'm getting really frustrated with this! advice please ? :(

Ok, so I'm practicing for the ACT this summer. I have been doing pretty well on all the sections, getting about a 30. But, when it comes to math I am so stupid with it! I feel like I haven't learned 75% of whats on it! My score is about a 20 on average. It sucks, what should I do? Should I try the SAT?

The SAT is a trickier test, but it doesn’t have some of the more advanced topics that are on the ACT. I would try a practice SAT - I suspect that it may be the better choice for you.

Alright, I just hate having to memorize a bunch of vocab.

^I wouldn’t worry about the vocab that much. If you’ve been a good reader and writer for the past 2-ish years of school, the vocab comes very easily. I have NEVER studied for vocab before, but since I do read frequently, I only missed 5 of the hardest vocab questions…

oh alright. How is the math on the SAT?

It’s not bad, you just need to avoid making stupid mistakes.

Alright, I also HATE the useless science section on the ACT, so maybe this is a positive to switch.

to improve the math, take a pratice test. Go over the test and look at the questions you got wrong. Try to study each one and figure out how to answer type of question. If you don’t know, talk to a strong math student or a teacher.

alright thank you  Its because I didn’t learn Algebra 2/Trig yet
