o aight...lol i got scared for a second there. it reminded me of segregation and what not..

students of color..?

in
10 char

in to at least 2 of them, leadership would be nice

I wish I could have gone to that school :(

Public Texas schools are super suckage :(

hey token, i wanted to know, did u read alot to get such a high SAT in english and writing. Did reading help you a lot. THats what im asking.

it's a troll....I've seen 2 or 3 different user names with his same stats.

I'm pretty sure token isn't a troll.

Black + 2200 = congratz on the acceptance

Black students with an SAT over 2100? In everywhere.

for penn, you have decent grades, pretty good SAT's, good SAT 2's, excellent course load and good EC's (assuming you have leadership positions). the only main thing that i would say that you're lacking is significant volunteer work (schools like penn love that kind of stuff). Being an African American from Texas sure won't hurt you're chances. I'd say that you have a fantastic chance ED and a pretty good chance RD.

great sat score, grades, excellent course load. active in sports. i think u have a pretty good chance

to the OP:

I guess there isn't a whole lot that hasn't been said already, but I'll chip in my two cents as well...

Your test scores and extracurriculars are enough to give you a very strong shot at the schools you have listed (perhaps Princeton may be a bit more difficult than the others, but still you have a shot).

Now if we were to factor your ethnicity into the whole formula (since in your case it will be an undeniable advantage), any concerns you might have should be seriously lessened. You've clearly embraced that cultural identity with some of your listed ECs, making your case an even stronger one. In short, I'd say you're in.

The thing is, you're clearly not the "token" acceptance at all (contrary to what your username might suggest). Everything you've described to us (except maaaybe the GPA, which is a tad lower than what those schools probably prefer) indicates that you're the kind of applicant that these people are looking for.

ok so i've updated my list to 10 (managable i hope). i saw somebody do "reject, unlikely, likely, in" responses so i was wondering if he and everything else could do that for me.
