i'd say if you have strong essays, grades, courseload, community service your scores will be sufficient. also after already taking it 2 times, you should try to focus on something else - like community service which is highly regarded or something for leadership.

note: not saying you should do community service just to look good but i think you should just start focusing on other aspects of the admission rather then just focusing on sats; plus your scores aren't bad.

Thanks for the comments. I'm in Beta Club as well so i've got service hours there; and every summer for an entire week since i've been in middle school I do mission trip work with my church.

On my high writing score test, I made a 9 on the essay.

Also, I took Leadership & Advanced Leadership as high school courses.

My strong point is creating websites, and i've already established an only community of around 10,000 members.

What do you think of my chances to get in Pepperdine?

well im going to be applying there this year as well so i cant give you a definite answer however your assets are really good! i think just the fact that you made a successful website makes you unique yet you have great leadership and church involvement. if you dont mind me asking, whats your site? id like to check it out :) congrats on that though its awesome

I sent you a message on another site but it's Habbo Discussion - harboring habbos since 05'!. It is an online teen discussion board for the game 'Habbo Hotel" (habbo.com) which is actually based in Santa Monica (approx 20 min from pepperdine!)

I'm from NC but I really have my heart set on Pepperdine.

I wish I had the money to attend Pepperdine. = [
My scores are higher than yours and I think I'm just going to apply for the hell of it.
If you can take the SAT's just one more time and break 1800, I'd think you'd have a great shot. :)

I'm not familiar with the whole "superscore" thing, but from what I've heard far less emphasis is placed on test scores at Pepperdine than at other schools. They are looking for students with strong character and things like that, so although I would suggest trying to bring up your scores I think you still have a shot because of your community service involvement and unique interests (i.e. the website creation). Don't blow off the application essays because I believe the admissions committee does closely scrutinize what you write. Also, I would suggest taking the ACT because some people (including myself) find them far easier than the SAT because the formats are so different. You may find you perform better on the ACT.
