I'm going to fail two classes this semester.

I don’t post on here but now I will because I’m failing two classes and I never had problems with college until this semester. My depression got worse even after I seen a counselor. My professors are just garbage.

I don’t know what to do. I don’t even know how to study for this test because it’s 16 chapters and I have no idea what she’ll put on the test because she always put the smallest of detail so I can’t make flash cards of every sentence. And just simply looking at the readings don’t help. She never went over anything during the whole semester. I barely have a C and I need a C to past so idk what to do

My other professor isnt even in the same state right now for the final. He changes his test format every test and also doesn the same thing as my other professor. I’m thinking about just dropping out if I fail my classes.

Are you asking a question?

I’m asking what should I do to study for these test or what should I do in generalg

Somebody must be doing better than you in those classes. Ask them for tips. Spend all of your available time studying.

Speak to an academic adviser ASAP and get advice. Many times, if you fail a class, you can repeat it and replace the old grade with the new grade. The F might be noted on your transcript but you gpa would be salvaged. I certainly would not consider dropping out.

If your depression is sufficient to be adversely affecting your performance then you should be more aggressive in treating it - e.g. see a therapist regularly outside of the student health center (there visits are often capped and the therapist might have to change midway) and see a psychiatrist for medication. If need be, take the next semester off to manage the depression and then re-start in a good place next fall.
