Life has been crazy recatching up with schoolwork, so I just now got a chance to print off my online application for my records, and realized that somehow the crazy thing messed up and didn't submit the last sentence and a half of one essay, which kind of defeats the whole point of the essay.

Did anyone have any luck finding their email address? I couldn't find it on the internet...

Well, I'm not sure I can say shooting yourself would be a good solution to this problem. I think Princeton would rather receive a note saying "I forgot the last 15 words of my essay" as opposed to "Applicant died, please remove file." (No, this is not meant to be critical).

I printed mine yesterday, and found two egregious gramatical errors...so I know exactly how you feel. I didn't bother contacting admission office hoping that they would overlook them.

So if any junior is reading this, my only advice is that don't write your essays the night before the app is due.

I wrote mine a decent while back, actually, and I still was sad when I looked at those essays. No grammar mistakes or such, but more of the "Oh, I could've put this better" feeling.

do they care if your formatting gets messed up. like it looked all pretty and spaced and stuff before and when i pressed submit it got all messed up and all the line spacings disappreard. So their was not way to tell when the prompt ended and the essay began, other than my knowing the prompt and its end.

Thanks all - I found a email addy and sent it in.

Gregster - I know they told me not to double space it, because when it transmits it goes wierd, but she also said that they do fix it before they print it off for the adcoms, it's just a pain. So you should be fine!!!

No kidding... Junior year is brutal, and it's going to have a tremendous effect on who you are. The person you write about now is not going to be the same person you'll write about next year.
