This is what my application status looks like now:

The whole "Recommendations: Not Received" thing is confusing to me. I assigned my teacher and counselor recommendations over a month ago, and they both submitted their materials over a month ago as well. So why does it say that they're not received? Why would it say my application was completed if my recommendations weren't received, and why would they still not be received if they've been submitted electronically over a month ago? Does anyone else's application say this too? Another confusing thing is it says my offline recommendations have been received... even though I had them done electronically. What is going on?

Mine says the exact same thing. Maybe they just havent updated it yet or something

My daughter’s status is the same. Look at the bottom of of your status (last 2 lines). It shows that the teacher and counselor recommendations have been received.

I had the exact same problem. I checked my application status frequently, and things always seemed to be missing. If you’re really concerned that they haven’t received something, call the admissions office and ask them to check for you. They confirmed that all of my letters had been processed, even though the online status wasn’t accurate. I don’t think they update it often!

Read the little blurb:

“PLEASE NOTE: If you have submitted a freshman application for Fall 2012, the status of recommendations submitted offline (either on paper or using another online system) will be listed below the heading of “Other Supporting Documents” below.”

it would only show received in that spot if submitted online.

I’m in the same boat. It said at the bottom of my page that they were received, but at the top it said they had not been? I asked both my GC and my teacher and they said they submitted it.

My question is, even if it says at the bottom that they were indeed received, why does it say overall that my application materials are not complete?? I’m concerned because the deadline has passed for scholarship consideration and that’s the only way I can afford to go…

(I’ve also tried to email the admissions office, but it’s been almost two weeks with no reply.)

:’(

Call them. You may need to wait on hold, but that’s the best way to get your questions answered right now.
