I'm having trouble deciding between schools...

First of all, I am a canadian citizen living in the U.S. and I was admitted into McGill Faculty of Management with a minor scholarship, so I would probably be paying around $10k a year, I think...

However, I was also admitted into UC Berkeley Engineering's Operations Research major, and U of Michigan's Financial Mathematics major, both of which I would be paying $40 a year for.

I'm looking to end up on Wall Street doing something like financial analyst and I want a strong math background to fall back on, so focusing only on academics and tuition, would it be worth the 40k going to ucb/umich, or should i save my money and stick with McGill? How is McGill's BCom reputation in the states?

Much as I like UoM, I would probably go to UCB if money is not an issue and all other things being equal.

However if you are planning to work as financial analyst, UoM & McGill are better choices.

McGill's academic reputation is great in the U.S. - more than any of those Canadian Schools which other threads have put above McGill. I don't believe all those ranking *** you see in other threads. So if you are planning to save $$, McGill is a good choice.

Can't answer your question on McGill's BCom reputation specifically 'cos my brother is having the same dilema although he's more inclined to go McGill.
