I'm I being ridiculous?

Ok, Im a soon to be Freshman in High School and so far this summer, something has been bothering me. I ended up with a Science grade of 94 for the end of the 8th grade year and got no science award. I'm still worried and I I'm wondering if it'll affect me in the long run.
I wanna double major in: Biology & Astrophysics (May Change not sure)

I do terrible on quizzes but AMAZING on tests. I got a 96 in Pre algebra as well

-Thanks in Advance

8th grade is generally not an issue for a college admissions office. Some colleges don’t even factor 9th grade (UCs, Stanford)…

Yeah, you’re being ridiculous. Schools don’t care about what you’ve done in middle school (unless you’ve been arrested or something of that nature)

UCs only look at 10th and 11th grade.
Most other schools only look at 9th-12th or 9th-11th grade
So yeah there is 0% chance any school will give a ****

I’ll put it simply: Colleges couldn’t care less about grades in middle school. Lack of 8th grade awards mean nothing. I’ll put it into perspective.

Of the people I know and still see/am in contact with (I’m in high school now) who won 8th grade awards, I will say about two are actually on the accelerated path. By that, I mean high in class rank, taking good courses, high tests scores, etc. The rest did well in the exceptionally easy 8th grade classes, but didn’t end up being that bright. Don’t worry about it, you will be fine for college.

Thank you everyone for your candid responses and your quibble will surely come in handy in the future :)
