2nd in the 2 mile race at a district competition?!
No WAY are you competitive for Georgetown! Second place is first loser. Get with the program.

Of course you’re competitive. Are you serious? All your ECs are interesting and have depth. Your grades are nice, and your SATs solid. Just take your time on your essays. I didn’t, and it’ll probably kill me come Monday.

And just out of curiosity, in what kind of equestrian competition did you win your ribbons? (I ask because there was an interesting NYT article about people dancing on horses, or something like that…)

Haha. Thanks for the input.
I unfortunately do not dance on horses. I do more equitation/pre-dressage type stuff.
And yeah, I have quite a few more than 10 ribbobs (including champoinship and reserve championship titles). =)
Thanks again!

I don’t think you are competitive enough if you go on saying “Im I competitive enough?” instead of “Am I competitive enough?” :P

Just kidding  Stats wise (especially GPA since I think they put quite an emphasis on that), you are but it’s all about the essays, the interviews, and everything else that become the determining factor after a certain point. Good luck! :)

Haha yeah, it was a typo that I caught too late. I cringe every time I see it. =)

I definitely envy your 10 years of Archery! I’ve always wanted to do it but no place around here to do it conveniently…I’d have to drive hours to get to a place and…I have this feeling that my parents won’t want to do that :P

Hey, I ride too! I’m also interested in Georgetown. It’s cool to find another equestrian in the applicant pool. I hope there are nice barns near D.C.
