I'm I heading in the right direction?

Hey so I’m currently a high school sophomore and although it is way to early to determine my chances for any colleges I want to list my current transcript and my future junior year classes to get feedback and constructive criticism. Disincluding my safety schools, the college’s I’m thinking about are UCLA, Notre Dame, USC, Boston University, University of Maryland, Northeastern, and Syracuse.

I also have gotten honor roll for all of my time in High School. Assuming that I join NHS and continue all of by previous club’s listed I would love to hear some feedback or if I have a possible chance for these colleges. Thank you for reading.

P.S I live out of state for all of the college’s listed

Unweighted GPA would be more meaningful because different high schools calculate weighted GPA in wildly different ways.

If you are out of state for all listed schools, then many of them will be very expensive. Some would be very expensive even if you were in-state. Have you run the NPCs? If they are unaffordable then it doesn’t matter whether you can get accepted.

DadTwoGirls thanks for responding and my UWGPA freshman year was a 3.4 and my UWGPA sophomore year is 3.5

Your GPA would be a problem for top schools like ND, UCLA, etc. Focus on your school work and get off this forum for now. Also, prepare for the SAT/ACT thoroughly over the summer. You can get into a good school still.

Being a member of a couple of clubs is not the level of extracurriculars that selective schools are looking for. See the sticky at the top of the “what aremy chances” forum for more info on stronger ECs

You’re a teenager. Just keep your grades up and go hang out with friends. Don’t blow anything up, OK? When the time comes next year, your parents and guidance counselor can help you with all of that stuff.
