I'm a Junior this year in HS, and I'm also dual-enrolling at a local community college and plan to earn an AA degree by the time I graduate (60 credits total). My GPA is not too low, but it's not impressive by any means--3.3-3.5 UW, 3.7-3.8 W. I plan on majoring in Linguistics or Psychology... but I'm still unsure, since I'm going to need extra credentials to get anywhere. My high school offers minimal APs, probably around ten, and I've chosen to only take AP courses in the areas I am strong in (2 so far). I do struggle with math and science, but I'm pretty good with writing and language.

Another drawback is how I have basically zero extracurriculars. We've had transportation issues, since my mom is the only one with the car and she goes to work, so I've never really been able to join any after-school clubs. We are on a tight budget so my own car is next to impossible right now. I know this is really going to hurt on the application, and since I'm dual-enrolling I may not be able to join clubs this year either. I do have some volunteer hours by aiding a teacher at a local middle school.

Will I be accepted at all to any school? x\ I plan on attending a state school for the rest of my undergrad (here in FL, or maybe out of state, like Texas, Indiana, New York, etc). I've been thinking that if I can try to get on the college newspaper or do some publications for the magazine, that can bump me up a bit. And there is National Honor Society too, and maybe Yearbook for next year.

OH, and I haven't taken the SAT or ACT yet. Will do this spring. c:

Thank you!
