i was originally going to enrolll to rutgers at the fall, but due to a poor senior year i was rescinded and went to stockton college instead (and i want to get OUT of here). my stats from h.s. are

3.6 gpa

1170 SATs

if i had to guess my GPA right now, its probably close to 3.8

im planning on applying for the spring semester.

is this pointless to be applying again since i really have nothing new to show them other than the grades i would have in progress?

They might take you in the spring contingent on your final grades at Stockton. But here is my recommendation. Relax. Their rescinding you sounds a bit harsh but it depends on what classes and why you got the F. It does happen, but usually takes more…

I would finish the year at Stockton. Kids get all kinds of “transferitis” in freshman year and its usually because of immaturity. But if Rutgers was your first choice and you got in, then got rescinded, then I understand…but you have to prove yourself. So apply for transfer in fall of 2010 after one year at Stockton. You likely have a deadline of April for that. That gives you more time to calm down, focus on your studies, learn a valuable lesson in being diligent and disciplined. Get the highest grades you can at Stockton. And dont walk around with a grudge or an attitude. Be grateful they took you and are giving you a chance to prove yourself. “Dance with the one who brung you” for now. And revisit this issue in the Spring.
