Im in a wierd situation Please help

I recently moved to the US because my dad’s company sent him here to work. Now I m applying to college with a non-immigrant visa. I have decent stats 3.75GPA, 2120 SAT 34 ACT. But because I have lived in CA for 2 years, I m a CA resident. So If I m applying to a UC, will their admissions stats still be a reliable guide to my chances? I have to apply as an international student but pay in stqate tuition. Thats wierd.

My D's friend's family moved to California from overseas, they arrived during the grade 11 year-student applied as a resident and also pays in state resident fees, as he has legally lived there 2 years before college began. They now have green cards, so I do not know the specifics of what type of visa it was, etc., but it is certainly worth a try. Look on the UC websites for teh state residency form and see how the questions apply.
