I'm in AP _____, but I feel like I'm learning nothing.

AP Stats. My teacher just makes us read the book and do worksheets. The most I learned, no, reviewed involved box plots and normal distributions.

AP Chemistry

Also Honors Pre-Calculus

I’m just not motivated enough for some reason.

euro! though i took it last year

AP Environmental = blah. I wish I had taken my teacher’s advice and done Anatomy/Physiology. I could make p3nis jokes all day long DAMNIT

AP US Government. After taking APUSH, everything just seems so redundant.

all you learn in AP Gov is that rich white people control everything

There seems to be a lot of hate for AP US Gov. My school doesn’t have the class but I’m interested in it.

Out of all the APs I’ve taken, AP English Language was the least demanding. We seriously went around to other classes bartering the last weeks before the AP exam. The other Lang classes at my school wrote large essays every week and most hated the class like the plague. The irony; we performed just as well as those difficult classes on the AP exam.

To be honest, ALL AP Classes I’ve taken have felt blow off at one time or another. I’ve had good teachers for each AP I’ve taken (3 in the past, 7 total), sure, but the 20 minutes of standing around socializing with my AP Chem teacher certainly weren’t as rigorous as the exam in which was so tough our teacher had a lengthy discussion on “temporary lack of success” afterwards.

Just because they are college courses doesn’t mean that every day will be conceptually challanging new curriculum.
