<p>I was in New Jersey yesterday . Worse, my family was driving on the roads. we nearly hydroplaned intoa huge mass of water and the splash flew all over our windows and thunder boomed all around us.</p>

<p>so whats with all the thunderstorms lately? its pretty gloomy/grey outside at the moment. and hurricane warning in orange county! (i dont live there) oooh i just heard a pretty big one.</p>

<p>A county near ours in New York (Orange, I believe) had a tornado warning. Pretty interesting. Our car almost got hit by lightning while we were driving home. </p>

<p>Last year a tornado warning was issued near my school, and there actually was a tornado, apparently, but it didn’t hit near me. It seems tornado warnings are getting more frequent here…or up here they’re quicker to jump to conclusions…</p>

<p>I’d hate to live in a place that got hit by lots of tornadoes. Tornadoes do fascinate me, though. They’re just so strange.</p>

<p>Tornado warnings are so frequent that I don’t even regard them.</p>

<p>For some reason a lot of the counties surrounding mine have had tornadoes. My county has had plenty of tornado warnings but so far no tornadoes that I know of.</p>
